The Great Thanksgiving 2016: Day 10

No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks — St. Ambrose

The Great Thanksgiving 2016An attitude of gratitude brings abundance

Gratitude is a powerful energy and whomever you direct gratitude’s energy onward, that’s where it goes. It is like sprinkling magic dust over people. This powerful positive energy affects them. The people you meet on the bus, in the elevator, while shopping, at a restaurant, at an amusement park, on an airplane — all are affected by the magic dust of gratitude that you send their way. You have opportunities every day to say thank you to people who provide you with services or who you encounter in any way, casual or intentional. You have he opportunity to share gratitude.

Even when someone treats you rudely, sprinkling the magic dust of gratitude on them with those two words will bring positive energy and blessing back to you. Whatever you put out into the universe MUST return to you. Whether it is through that person or the next, it WILL return to you! Remember that you may encounter someone who is having a very hard day or hard time in life. They may be feeling unwell, getting a divorce or just had a loved one die. You never know. Your kind words of gratitude can make all the difference in their life in that moment you encounter each other. You can share gratitude. You can sprinkle magic dust on them. Thank you for your help or Thank you for giving me some of your time. It means a lot to me or Thank you for going out of your way to help me. I appreciate it will make a difference to them.

When you sprinkle you magic dust, look the person fully in the face, in the eyes, and smile. Sometimes, it is a good idea to squeeze the person’s hand or arm. Take your attention away from you cell phone and other things. I’ve them just a moment of your time, in sincerity.

People serve you every day. If you decide to eat out, you receive the service of more than one person. All the employees of a restaurant who clean it, prepare the tables, wash the dishes, sweep the floors, cook or serve the food, clean the restroom, are serving you.
